Volker Strübing

Volker Strübing was born in 1971 in East-Germany. Trained in dataprocessing, he was a member of the C64-Scene in East Berlin. He designed ATOMINO, the first commercial computer game released by an East German team. He now works now as a freelance writer, director and designer. His documentary "Auferstanden aus Platinen - Die Heimcomputerszene in der DDR“ (Risen from the boards - The home computer scene in the GDR) was released in 2019.
