After his graduation as a graphic designer, Director/screenwriter/producer Norbert ter Hall (1966) worked for some time as a set designer for various theater companies and broadcasters. In 1992 he received the Charlotte Köhler Prize for his theater sets.
His work gradually shifted to directing. Norbert has directed numerous critically acclaimed and award-winning series and feature films. He lives and works in Amsterdam; the city, which in all its diversity, is the main source of inspiration for his work.
