    Polish People’s Republic, 1977. A young, gifted mathematician, Marcin, performs a lecture at the university. Marcin’s lecture is a success, so he gets an opportunity to perform his work at the university in Paris. Unfortunately, his overdue, obligatory military service can undermine his plans of leaving a socialist country. Marcin decides to pretend a mental illness to receive an exemption from the service. He checks in to the psychiatric ward with a made-up illness. Things go well for him at first. This is until Marcin’s intellect gets attention of an officious doctor, who tries to cure him. Marcin gets dazzling drugs. Young mathematician decides to tell the truth about his sneaky plan. Will the doctor believe a psychiatric patient, who says, his sane?

    Born in 1993 in Gdańsk. In 2012 Zuzanna graduated from „Film kindergarten” course in Wajda School. In 2019 she graduated from Krzysztof Kieślowski Faculty of Radio and Television in Katowice. She is a writer and director for short documentaries, „Wanda” (2014), „Being Old” (2018), as well as student feature films, including „Healing” (2017) and „Not a fairytale” (2019). Her short productions participates in film festivals all over the world.
