In 1964 Carlo Levi, Italian painter, writer, politician, publishes “Tutto il miele è finito” - a portrait of the island of Sardinia. The film retraces a series of micro narratives as pictorial visions which address the contemplation of landscape and the attempt to portray a community in transition.

In dialogue with Levi’s gaze and storytelling, it suggests a symbolic space where multiple temporalities and corporealities co-exist. The figure of Orune embodies metamorphosis in its existence as a village, a woman, or a bird.
