Black Ice VR

VR - AR United States 2022
By: Arif Khan

Virtual worlds: Eerily beautiful, oppressive and very close. Horror with a cyberpunk look. B3 presents BLACK ICE, a VR work from the USA that premiered at SXSW 2022. BLACK ICE is set in the cyberpunk future, as a younger girl visits a reminiscence editor to suppress a dark memory of a murder she committed. But the more the editor alters the memory, the more she feels an eerie desire to kill again. BLACK ICE is a cinematic single-player VR experience that explores the destructive power of memories and how much they define us, for better or worse.
