Ryushi Lindsay

Ryushi Lindsay is a British-Japanese filmmaker based between the UK and Japan. Particularly interested in nation, race, class, and colonial pasts and presents, his work spans fiction and experimental non-fiction. His 2019 documentary about the fascist aesthetics of Japanese high-school baseball was picked up by MUBI in 2021 after a short festival run, and he is currently in post on his Japanese culture-ministry funded short, SILK & RUSHES.
