After studying history, Emmanuel Gras graduated from the French film school ENS Louis-Lumière. His first feature-length documentary BOVINES was nominated for the César and screened in the Acid selection at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2017, his film MAKALA won the Grand Prize of the Semaine de la critique. His latest documentary UN PEUPLE (2022) tells the story of the Yellow Vests movement that shook France for an entire year.
